Handcrafted Lip Balm

You really can't beat a good lip balm - especially for dry, chapped, weather-worn lips during the summer heat - or the cold, snowy, blowy winter! Many also have a habit of licking their lips incessantly, which often leads to painful cuts, sores, and even bleeding.

A good lip balm is one made with only premium, nourishing ingredients that soothe the sensitive skin on your lips; has moisturizing properties; and creates a barrier that protects your lips from additional irritants. 

The unfortunate thing is that there are a zillion lip balms out there, and many contain toxic ingredients such as mineral oil and petrolatum. Furthermore, many lip balms contain parabens (preservatives) and toxic chemical fragrances, flavors, and sunscreens. 

Toxic ingredients are contained in many personal care products, including seemingly harmless lip balms. Many ingredients are endocrine (hormone) disruptors linked to infertility, a worsening of allergy and asthma symptoms, and many other health challenges. I feel it's my responsibility to also share that many of the toxic ingredients in personal care products have also been scientifically linked to various types of cancer.

The Bottom Line: 

My lip balms are made with only premium, non-toxic ingredients. Everyone loves them, and I'm sure you will, too! I fill every empty lip balm container by hand and ensure that the entire container is filled with product. I then use a spatula on each lip balm, leveling out the top to a nice, smooth finish. 

My scents/flavors are created with the right amount of pure, therapeutic essential oils that are never overpowering and that are simply scrumptious! 

I love creating new scents and I also vary the "base formulation" of my lip balms by using different types and quantities of plant oils to create blends that are more basic, or that may cater to lips that are in desperate need of extra moisturization and protection. 

The two scents I currently have available are both made with a basic, but very nourishing and protective blend of beeswax, apricot kernel oil, cocoa butter, coconut oil, and a touch of Vitamin E oil. ALL ORGANIC INGREDIENTS!

Additionally, they each have different essential oils added to create a unique scent that you'll love - no matter which one you choose.

Maybe you just need to get one of each!
