Beard oil?

YEP!

Beards, goatees, mustaches - facial hair - is very popular! Yes, facial hair has become a fashion statement for men, but has been around for a LONG, LONG time! Many men, regardless of the latest fashion trend, have worn their beards for years, either for practical reasons, or simply personal preference.

So why do men with facial hair need beard oil?

Well, here's the deal: Beard oil acts as a moisturizer that you massage into your beard, and down to the skin underneath. It penetrates the hair follicle and prevents hair from growing brittle, especially in cold, windy environments, or very dry ones, like in Arizona.

Extreme cold and/or dry weather causes the natural moisture of the beard area to wick. Beard oil hydrates this area and helps prevent flaking, dandruff and skin dryness.

A good beard oil will soothe the skin and moisturize beard hair, making it softer, smoother, and less scraggly-looking. Beards will look more "coiffed."

And beard oil doesn't just benefit a beard. Here's two personal stories: One friend decided to grow a beard (he has had a goatee for years). I asked him to use my beard oil on his goatee and he liked how it was hydrating and provided relief for his dry, itchy skin.

When he started growing his full-on beard, he experienced so much itching and irritation as it grew in, that he was ready to give up. I encouraged him to apply the beard oil to the itchy, irritated areas as often as he needed. He experienced immediate relief every time! He also realized that using my beard oil on his dry, itchy forehead and hands (that he has from working outside in the cold, Michigan weather every day) soothes and relieves his dry, red, flaky, itchy skin!

Another friend never used beard oil before, and agreed to use mine every day and give me his feedback. He has a goatee, and when I checked in with him a few weeks later, he only had positive things to say. But, he also said he started using the oil on the dry, rough patches of skin on his knuckles (he lives in Michigan, too), and experienced relief, along with smoother, hydrated skin.

One more quick story: My sister bought my beard oil for her husband. He didn't use it much, but then got a red rash on his face from the cold, dry winter weather (Michigan!). My sister suggested he apply my beard oil on his red, rashy skin. His skin was back to normal over the next 24 hours!

The moral of these stories? Men find that a good beard oil can provide soothing skin relief, as well as a fresh, moisturized, and smooth-looking beard (or goatee, or mustache).

The Bottom Line:

If you have a beard, you don't know what you're missing if you haven't tried a good beard oil!

And, if you have a partner with a beard, consider getting some beard oil for him. You'll love the subtle, fresh scent (if you choose a scented version) or, at the least, you'll appreciate not having to kiss someone with a scratchy, scraggly beard!

I chose the specific oils in my beard oil to provide certain benefits.

I have a (truly) unscented beard oil, as well as a pleasing "masculine" scent I created using a premium custom-formulated therapeutic essential oil blend of Sandalwood, Bergamot, and Vetiver.

Packaged with a unique label in snazzy 1/2 oz., 1 oz., or 2 oz. amber or black glass dropper bottles.

Directions: Put a dime-sized amount into palm of hand and rub your palms together. Smooth product into beard or other facial hair, working it down to the skin. Brush or comb beard. Use as often as necessary, and on any and all patches of dry, rough skin on the face or elsewhere.

Ingredients (scented version): Vitis vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil*, Cannabis sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil*, Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Santalum album (Sandalwood) Oil, Citrus bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Vetiveria zizaniodes (Vetiver) Root Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E)*.  *Organic

The unscented version does not contain the essential oils (Sandalwood, Bergamot, Vetiver). The other remaining oils are the same.
